Basit Gelecek Zaman

1) Yapı (Form)

• Olumlu ( + ): S + will (‘ll) + V1 + …
  I’ll call you tonight.
• Olumsuz ( – ): S + will not (won’t) + V1 + …
  She won’t come today.
• Soru ( ? ): Will + S + V1 + … ?
  Will they join us?

Not: Fiil daima V1 (infinitive) kullanılır: go, open, study…

WH-soruları

WH + will + S + V1 … ?
When will you leave? / Where will she stay?

• Who özneyi soruyorsa tek başına: Who will come?
• Which’ten sonra mutlaka isim: Which book will you buy?

2) Kullanım (Usage)

1. Gelecek öngörüsü / tahmin

• It will rain next Sunday.
• The world population will grow in the next 50 years.

2. Konuşma anında verilen karar (spontaneous decision)

• (Phone rings) I’ll answer it.
• I’m thirsty. I’ll get some water.

3. Rica / İstek

• Will you open the window, please?
• Will you come with me?

4. Söz / Vaat

• I’ll call you when I get home.
• We’ll send the report today.

5. Teklif (shall – BE, özellikle I/We ile)

• Shall we dance? / Shall we go to the park later?

6. Koşul cümleleri (if + Present, will + V1)

• If it rains, I’ll take my umbrella.
• If they win, they’ll reach the final.

Shall / shan’t: Günlük kullanımda sınırlı; I/We ile teklif, resmi tonda kural/duyuru.
will not → won’t, shall not → shan’t.

3) Zaman Zarfları (Adverbs/Time Phrases)

• Sıklık zarfları: always, never → özne ile fiil arasına:
  I will always love you. / They will never trust you again.
• Diğerleri: soon, later, next week/month/year, this evening, in two years, after…
  Next year, I’ll probably visit my aunt in America.

• will: anlık karar, nötr tahmin, söz/vaat.
• be going to: plan/niyet, güçlü kanıtlı tahmin.
